Chart Track rarely release numbers, and they haven't released Wii hardware numbers before.

Also, what you are saying wouldn't be spin, it would be a false statement and illegal since 1 in 3 is 33%, that's the minimum point at which the statement would be true. However, as someone said in this thread, it ultimately implies that vgchartz have overtracked Wii in other places.

They released Wii hw numbers for January 2009 which were 4.9m

It is lying to say 1 in 3 when it isn't but that's exactly what PR is. For all we know it still can be rounded. what's closer to 30% ? 1 in 4 or 1 in 3 ?

Nov 2006 - Jan 2009 (27 months, 3 xmas') 4.9 mill (includes 08 Wii Peak)
Feb 2009 - August 2010 (19 months, 1 xmas) 3.4 mill ... (I might add it's least successful xmas in UK history, and least successful Q1/Q2/Q3)

Don't buy it.
