Not sure how (narrowly) outdoing Halo 3 in the first three weeks = good to beat it. It'll take years at this rate. You can't make an accurate prediction spanning that amount of time based on three weeks!

well its beating it which is the only measure we have.

Its more likely that it will than it ownt given the current data.

Unless you have some curious method which shows the opposite.

End of this generation could be a factor.

Halo 3 is still selling reasonably well for a 3 years old game.

But for now Reach is going a little better... 5% I gess (?)
