I understand there would be differnt companies, but none the less they should be able to buy the rights for the movies from who ever owns them in Canada. It started off slowly in the US too as they had to build their catalogue of movies up.
(I shouldn't have said movie makers, I meant who ever own the rights to said movie, as far as I know that can be varying people depending on circumstances)
