Best guess is that Sony will stop manufacturing it in 2010 cos the sales will die next year as PS2 owners jump to either the Wii or PS3*
* I'm making the assumption that Sony brand loyalty will mean they'll go to the PS3 if they are lured by HD as opposed to the 360, however given Sony have sacrificed backwards compatibility they could jump to the 360 if it continues to enjoy the best software line-up!
