Nintendo are hypocrites for talking out against bad games then letting them on system. Thompson should go after Nintendo and shame them, most parents don't know about Manhunt 2 and would be shocked and mad at Nintendo. Nintendo would drop game.

I'm really sick of this outdated sentiment. Nintendo hasn't tried to actively limit violence in third party titles since MK1. Despite being the technically more accurate version from a graphics and sound standpoint, the sweat laden MK1 for SNES was crushed by the inferior graphics and sound of the Genesis version. Playing nanny cost Nintendo a boatload of money. So when MK2 arrived it was uncensored.

Subsequently bank rolled its own gorey fighter called Killer Instinct. It was one of the head line games for their upcoming "Ultra 64." The N64 was headlined by Nintendo's own games and 3rd party efforts such as the blood Turok franchise and games like Body Harvest. By the time the Gamecube rolled around, Nintendo was allowing games like BMX XXX to be completely uncensored. Where as the game was censored slightly on X-box and heavily on the Playstation 2.

Nintendo does not develop overly violent games internally. They don't limit publishers from producing violent games.
