It's an eyesore to look at. V through to XIII aren't. It's the most popular Final Fantasy ever. They need to finish the compilation. Give us the story wrap-up (Genesis) and then give us the Remake, in HD. Everyone at SE wants to do it. They get asked about it in pretty much every interview about mainline Final Fantasy. I want it.

The only real problem with FFVII graphically is that it was Squaresofts first 3D FF so thy wernt used to 3D polygonal graphics just look at the battle animations in FFVII they are very close to FFVIII in quality but the over world and characters on that plain are more like Lego because of the lack of experience with 3D.
FFVII should get a remake in HD but not with the FFXIII engine because it would be way to expensive and time consuming.
I would love to see a a remakes of FFV-FFIX someday and the later ones on PS2 for example would only need a slight upgrade for HD so I can see Square-Enix doing something like that.
