I think the FIFA World Cup have a lot more viewers than Super Bowl.

Not really no. They said there was an average of 95 Million viewers per match for the 2006 cup. But it's super hard to track since it's being watched in some of the most obscure countries.

And there are some exceptions like:

The funeral of Diana, Princess of Wales was watched by 2 billion people.

The funeral of Pope John Paul II was watched by over 1 billion people worldwide.

The funeral service for Michael Jackson was watched by over 3.5 billion people worldwide.

LoL?!

The 2010 FIFA World Cup was expected to be the most-watched television event in history.[117] Hundreds of broadcasters, representing about 70 countries, transmitted the Cup to a TV audience that FIFA officials expect to exceed a cumulative 26 billion people, an average of approximately 400 million viewers per match. FIFA estimated that around 700 million viewers would watch the World Cup final.[118]
