If PS3 didn't have Move, making it the only console without dedicated motion control capability, it would implode into a self defeating void of irrelevance. With Move it stays relevant and retains a good position for the next generation.
I think PSEye 3 for PS4 will be a 3D camera giving PS4 Move more of a Kinect vibe, while retaining the buttons. Giving it a great deal of versatility with both contoller and controller free gaming. Kinect of course will popularise controller free gaming and so Next gen consoles without a solid controller free option will be left behind. Monocular PSEye, while good (witness King Fu Live), isn't good enough.
