Sony ship the PS2 to markets (afaik) that VGC can't/doesn't track. That's why it's still selling so well. I mean, they only just released it in Brazil in November. 9 years after it officially released elsewhere.


Yeah, but realistically how many people in Brazil are going to buy a PS2, those that can afford will want a 360 or a PS3 or a Wii, and those that can't won't be buying a PS2 anyways

 

So lets be serious, Wii is hardly in trouble, yes its nearing the later stages of its product lifecycle, but even now, its overtracking its competiton and even other historical record holders like the PS2

 

All this talk about niontento needingto rush out its next console or being on death's door is extreme exagerration not supported by the numbers
