Only if you don't mind looking like a kid with your big bulk game systems. The Slim PS3 is unadorned, simple, and sleek, like an actual piece of home media (BR player) in an adult's living room. That's actually much of the reasoning behind my finalized black looks of all my systems; it's a style thing. Just as people by furniture to have a stylish and mature appearance I have game systems which do the same. It all depends on what you want. The fat PS3 is "cool" and stands out, but it looks like a game; a toy.

But I like that... I think the old PS3 and 360 designs make them look more special and exciting than just a DVD player or something like that.

Unfortunately, my colour co-ordination only lasts between my PS3, PS2 (slim) and TV, the white Xbox is the elephant in the room
