Funny how these "absolute" morals differ from culture to culture, and even from person to person (not to mention that these absolute morals are almost always dependent on certain circumstances - for example soliders kill other people, yet aren't labeled as murderers or immoral). And how exactly do morals prove the existence of anything supernatural? |
Yet you want to inflict your core morals on everyone else. Honestly you do. Or else you wouldn't call yourself a humanist, you probably wouldn't vote and you wouldn't discuss so much in these sort of topics as you do. Instead you would just go "hey, whatever floats your boat, man. You can believe in xenophobia and racism if you want. Your morals are just determined by your culture anyway so they're not better than mine."
But you don't. You act as if you believed in absolute morals.
You ever thought why?
