Many of the best games this gen are multiplat. I'd also bet that any of the good 360 / PS3 exclusives would have been just as great were it designed for the other console. The difference between the two system's capabilities seems negligible. |
I see this all the time, and I am just dumb founded. There is such a huge leap in content, usability, craftsmanship, production, and quality between multi-plats, and exclusives. As the generation moves on this is getting even more and more profound. Look at Halo Reach for example. That game offers at least twice the content of any multi-platform game and every bit of it at a quality that could not be done across multiple systems, without massive cost. The only way that a developer could recreate Reach on PS3 would be to take another team of 200 people and spend 2 years fine tuning every bit of it to match in performance and quality.
There have been good Multi-Plats this gen, in Bioshock, Mass Effect, and Burnout Paradise. Those 3 games are the only multi-plat titles I have felt made that exclusive level of quality. Out of them two are time exclusives. Bioshock was amazing on 360 and felt the same on PS3, and I am sure the same will hold true for ME2.
Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. Help make existence a beautiful thing.
