Will the PS3 be able to outsell the Wii in Japan any week this year?

I don't think it's the biggest stretch.  Pretty amazing though, to see such weakness from a market leader.  Is there a precedent for this?

I'd argue DS is actually the Japanese market leader though.  Wii's really 2nd (software) or 3rd (hardware) place.

I'd argue if this were any other market because of the console/handheld divide, but Japan is so handheld-centric it's borderline craziness! lol  yeah makes sense.  PS3 may surprise some people in the long run though, I think it has a good while ahead of it.
