yeah, stupid Ninendo and their intelligent marketing practice of delivering to the market whatthe consumers are interested in.  how lazy.

the consumer is dictating this game, and Nintendo is simply responding to that demand.  but if you think a massive company like Nintendo has such limited resources that they are actually diverting resources from a new Zelda IP to afford this port, well that is simply as ridiculous as criticizing a business for making money.

Congratulations on missing the point of everything I wrote. You deserve a medal. :P

I'm upset over the fact that Nintendo is smart and realizes they can take advantage of the nostalgia in fanboyism. If you took time to understand what I was saying, you'd see what I'm really mad about is the fact that fanboys are so nostalgic and get giddy over ports of games we've been playing for almost 15 years. When they could get something new. And why do I hate it? Because it means that Nintendo will be remaking old games instead of giving us new ones.

It's not Nintendo's fault at all and I never meant it that way. *shrugs* You totally missed my point.

Is Nintendo so massive that they can make SS and this port of OoT and still have all the people they need leftover to put all the effort needed into a brand new Zelda 3DS? You have no basis for that argument besides your fanciful thoughts. How about you find some way to prove it?

Nintendo is smart and they're making amazing business decisions. I don't doubt that at all. I just hate that fanboys are still creaming their pants over a game we played 15 years ago with a few slight upgrades. It goes entirely against myself as a gamer.

And this is coming from Nintendo fans. Fans who for the past few years have been screaming "Graphics whores~!~!~!" At HD fanboys. It's so ironic I can't help but laugh.

why do you care or are bothered what other people like or buy?  someone wants a remake, how does that affect you in any way to the point that it bothers you enough to have to start a thread about it?  I got your point, simply nothing about it made any sense. you criticized a business for doing what business' do -- identify consumer demand and satisfy it, as if that was a negative.  that's ridiculous.  more ridiculous is then trying to mask that and attempt to claim you aren't criticizing that company.

the proof that Nintendo has the resources to develop new games while porting old games simultaneously is in the fact that Nintendo has made ports of old games and new games at the same time in the past.  are you seriously attempting to dispute that?  the actual game brands are irrelevant, all that matters is that they have done so and intelligence and logic dictate that can be projected onto other games.  or are you going to make the argument that Nintendo can afford to do so with other properties, but can't afford to do so with one of their flagship properties.  are you going to commit the logical fallacy of using a narrow argument that only fits your position rather than a broad criteria that can apply to all?

by the sense you've exhibited so far in this thread, I'm sure that is exactly what you are going to do .
