My friends who bought PSP's at launch all had dead pixels and one had to return his twice. Then Adam Sessler imported one from Japan and the buttons were partially in the screen. I heard about constant problems for about half a year. I ended up buying mine in 2008 after all the glitches were worked out. It seems that with Sony products you need to wait a year or two for all the bugs to be worked out. |
I had a launch PSP with no issues what so ever for over a year. I had a PSP2001 model with a dead pixel. I've had 3 DS Lites all of which had this annoying had this annoying clicking when opening after a couple of months. My limited edition D/P DS had some unusual lighting issue that had the brightest setting only as bright as Lv2 on other DS Lites. My Brother had a DS Lite with a raised D-Pad that forced him to either press harder or or keep his thumb in the center pushing the entire D-Pad and leaning it into the direction he wants like a joystick. We noticed this right out of the box.
Shit happens. New and late models.
OT: If it's over 200$ without a great game, I'll probably just get the PSP.
