Nintendo Japan has declardo this Wednesday September 27, 2010 cut its sales forecast for its DS handheld to 23.5 million units by March 2011 from 30 million units previously.
The company said the revised figure includes 4 million units of the 3DS version, which will be released in Japan on February 26 and the United States in March.
Nintendo also cut its sales target for the Wii at 17.5 million units from 18 million units for the current year.(Reporting by Taiga Uranaka, edited by Chris Gallagher)
