I agree. I've solved puzzles in games like Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Fear Effect, Lolo, and Tomb Raider that were nothing short of amazing. Every serious gamer has. If someone in a position of power actually sat back and watched an average gamer solve impossible problems with limited resources, then their opinion about this hobby would definitely change. Just keep them away from those rowdy Halo guys!
