I never said graphics I said processing there is more to processing then graphics, and as for which one is better, the ps3s processing power can be put into graphics but it's graphics card is weaker but if programed right it wouldn't even need a graphics card, so it depends how it's programed but it could easily outclass the 360 as we've seen with several exclusives and there is more to a game then just graphics, AI and physics come to mind so yes it's entirely possible it's out of the 360s league if they took advantage of the processing power, it wouldn't be able to play it, atleast without downgrading the actual gameplay (since it's an action rpg, gameplay is more taxing then in a turn based one) and why can't I make an assumption about splinter cell when you can about versus, besides, splinter cell fits the timed exclusive mold perfectly and previous ones in the series were also timed exclusive, it's like the most obvious timed exclusive ever

Graphically I have only seen 1 game on the PS3 that looks better then any 360 game, thats Killzone 2 (not 3, due to this whole 3D engine, I think graphics have actually gone down). So i don't know what you mean by outclass, but I disagree.

I don't assume Versus is going multiplatform, and I never included it in a list of multiplatform games. I just said I think it will go multiplatform. Thats different from you saying Splinter Cell will go multi-platform and then include it in a list of timed exclusives.

and I feel the same way about Versus as you do about Conviction. I know the PS3 can multi-process things better then the 360, so if they designed Versus to have a billion things happen at once, then it would be difficult to port the game over to the 360 (just like ME2 is having trouble being ported over). However from what I've seen, it looks entirely do-able on the 360. Also in the history of current gen consoles, Square Enix has been giving more support to the 360. With multiple 360 only exclusives, or timed exclusives. I just can't see this game remaining exclusive.

Where have you heard anything about ME2 having trouble being ported over? and as for games, what 360 exclusive looks as good as Uncharted 2 or God of War 3 or even heavy rain, as for splinter cell conviction every other splinter cell was a timed exclusive, I called ME2 being a timed exclusives, if I'm wrong about it you can rub my face in it, but I haven't been wrong yet, with ones alot less likely then conviction, as for Versus like I said it depends how much of the ps3s potential they use, I can easily see it being unable to be put on the 360 in any practical way (much like MGS4 was) but if they were told to keep the option open and held the game back then it probably will, but I don't see the KH team doing that

Gears of War 2 > Uncharted 2, God of War 3, and Heavy Rain in my eyes. Halo Reach, Alan Wake, and Splinter Cell look about the same, and Resident Evil 5 and Fallout are at this level graphically and it's basically identical on the PS3/360. Forza Motorsport 3 also look about as good as GT5 if you don't count the pre-rendered backgrounds in GT5.

As for ME2 VGChartz has an article on how ME2 will be different on the PS3 as the game was not built for the PS3 multi-core. aka it's going to look a bit worse.

I don't think MGS4 was impossible on the 360, just for every at you would have a different disk (but its better switching disks then a 3-4 minute install). that was just an exclusive that never went timed (like Left 4 Dead or Gears).

KH? Kingdom Hearts?

I think Versus will go the way FFXIII went, but thats just my opinion. The huge 360 western market is too large to ignore.

I kinda have to disagree with you on FM3 looking the same as GT5 and Gears 2 looking better than Uncharted 2. There was a thread that showed pics of GT5: Prologue and FM3 side by side, and the car detail looks noticeably better on GT5:P (in my eyes, anyways).

Now as for Gears 2 and the other games, I can't really debate that, it's subjective, but I just think it's worth noting that in 2008, best graphics awards (technical) were divided between MGS4 and Gears of War 2. Gametrailers, for example, gave it to Gears 2, while IGN and Gamespot gave it to MGS4. In 2009, however, Uncharted 2 gobbled up most of the best graphics awards, with some sites giving it to Killzone 2.

I understand completely it's your opinion, and I'm not trying to undermine yours or anything, but that's the first time I've seen someone say that.

Well MGS4 to me looks on par with Uncharted 2, and Heavy Rain, and better then God of War 3. If Gears to is on a tie with MGS4, then I think it's on par with the best PS3 games. I also think Alan Wake, Splinter Cell and Resident Evil 5 look the same graphically as God of War and Heavy Rain. To me all these games pool into a category of "best graphics" and the only standout is Killzone 2.

I think Killzone 2 is the only really standout game tha overshadows Gears, if there is a difference with any of the others, it's so miniscule it would be more dependant on the specific environment, lighting, etc. Heavy Rain shows a lot of close up images of individuals, and face detail is phenominal, but environments... not so much. Sometimes hills just look like a pile of grey, and newspapaer as just blurs.

Best Graphics for 2010 may go to ME2, Heavy Rain, GT5, Splinter Cell, GoW 3, Halo Reach, or Alan Wake. I think the former 3 have the best chance, but you never know..

For 2011 Gears of War 3 looks the best so far, without a shadow of a doubt.

So really there isn't much of a difference. PS3 does better multi-processing, but the 360 has significantly better textures There are pros and cons to both, and Versus XIV could defininatly play on the 360 the way it's built.

In my opinion Versus will be multiplatform, thats all.
