Ok, I have tried all things I can think of. I have tried the Wii standing up and laying down, With and without a disk inside. I have tried to boot regular and it locks up. If I boot in maintenance mode I can get in, but when I try and go to the system menu to format the machine as soon as I click the last button to format it freezes. This leads me to believe there is something wrong with the onboard memory. I am just going to replace this with the black Wii. Thank you for all of your help. I will just chalk this Wii up to dead.
