Who pays for pirated movies? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of pirating?
Anyway, I don't think piracy is ok, and if you think you're "sticking it to the man" by pirating, I can go into a huge debate with whoever wants it...I'm pretty sure if you're a logical human, you can't explain yourself.
Although, I'll admit with music and sometimes movies, I don't have a huge problem with it. I'm not trying to "stick it to the man," I just want to listen to some good music or watch a movie without throwing twenties away. I still use Netflix and go to movies in theaters. But for games, sales are very important, 100,000 (not a lot) sales can sometimesreally tip the scale as to whether or not a game will get a sequel, etc.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
