Remember the game was originally for the PS3/360. Also, Warren said Mickey fits more with Nintendo's demographic anyway. Same goes for KH... |
1. Back then Wii was setting records and Nintendo's own Wii software was selling like cakes......of course they thought the game would sell well on Wii when development started. But now the picture is different and you have to wonder why they are saying things like "we might make it multiplat" A FEW WEEKS before launch.....sounds like lack of faith in sales too me.
2. Toy Story 3 : The Game and other regular Disney movie games DO NOT have the same audience as the KH games. This is a S-E and Disney game.....S-E games sell best on PS360 combined (well they have only released 1 on then FF13)
3. The presence of FF characters is less because the brand has been built up. In KH1/2 they needed more FF characters to attract the massive FF fan base......which they DID attract. But now that the FF fanbase that was attracted are also KH fans there is no need to spam FF characters in KH games......that fan base has been built up now and A LOT of it is mixed with FF. You see fan sites for KH on the net you'll see most are FF fans there.
True the real world is a different story.....but the remaining "Disney fans" who apparently only buy Wii's according to you because Toy Story 3 and some other cartoon movie games sold better on Wii can be won over by a $199 PS3
4. EU sales being close says a lot considering PSP's dismal software situation. YOu and I know how bad piracy is, Dissidia FF had 5 Million downloads FYI.
Nomura won't let the work his team put into Versus XIII go to waste.....that team has gained experience on PS3 now and they'll simply move on to KH3. FF/KH will remain on the same platform for this gen too, thats PS360. Wii gets DQ.
