doomed originally came up here on vgc back in 07 when the ps3 was having really bad sales, so many thought that it was doomed and sony would leave the gaming industry
it was also in the back of peoples minds when the wii was having very good sales some knew that what goes up must come down so they said wiis a fad, nintendos doomed after the fads up, and ect back in 07-09 and now it looks like those comments are coming back again
here on vgc doomed basically means that a console is having or will have low sales in the very near future
for example i.e.
i believe that next year both wii and 360 will be doomed b/c sonys SW line up will be the best it ever has been look at the games KZ3 infamous2 socom4 LP2 twisted metal LG The Agent R3 ect. ect.,there will be a new model, and a price cut. 360 and wii will also get a price cut but it wont have the same explosion effect that the ps3s will b/c the 360 and wii are already at $200 and had seen multiple deals already of $150 and even $99
