I think his last one was sarcastic, due to the dots and the fact that if the second one is impossible, there is no chance in hell of the third.

But swap those two around (and look at one of my other posts) and its a bit more plausible.

I know , hence the sarcasm.  Since it would be so tough for the second, he gave a sarcastic response to the third one even being suggested.  You can ask him, but I think that's what he's doing.
