You say in the OP Wii won last year, but...
15,914,929 (360) > 15,690,009 (Wii)
Am I missing something?
Edit: Just realised you didn't count the last week of the year and/or any adjustments (eg. the thread says 6.6 million for NSMB while VGChartz 2009 chart says 10 million O_O). Wii most likely did beat the 360.
