People have seen motion like THIS for years. Despite the unique features that Move has - the consumer see it used and it looks like the Sony Wiimote. Something many have already played before. It honestly seems like Sony has to convince people who own PS3's already - that it's worth buying. Forget convincing someone without a PS3, that Move is the answer for buying their console. Not if you're going to have technology that too closely resembles the Wiimote. This will not even get 1/3 of the populous brought in by the Wii. It's just - not different enough for them to justify it. And in my opinion - it may be too accurate for it's own good. |
This is more the Wii's fault than Sony's. The Wii kind of mucked up motion in the eyes of the "core". It's regarded as lame to many people, but good games usually prevail. We have to wait and see.
