That wouldn't fix the problem either since Bungie tracks online campaign play as well.
Straight up according to Bungie 400% more people were playing Reach online than Halo 3's launch in ANY MODE including single player as long as they were connected to the internet.
Now Vgchartz has the difference between the two launches at 5%. I don't believe Reach sold 400% more than Halo 3 but with these kind of number you expect me to believe the 5% difference shown here? No way.
