Man that's gonna suck as I have annual passes to Disneyland this year and we agreed to spend all our holiday gift money on our 3 of 4 trips this year that will be occuring in December. This means I couldn't buy my kids ;) a 3DS for xmas and the April launch was far better for me.
Well, if it does happen I guess that means I won't have to worry about being out of stock when I am ready to buy it.
