It also makes sense from a disruption point of view - it could be the hot new thing for Christmas for many who otherwise would have considered Kinect. Given the price points, I don't see too many people getting both for Christmas - so it will be the choice between 3D without glasses and yet another motion thing (as some will see it. of course not everybody).
