DmC developer Ninja Theory is looking to hire Japanese and Mandarin-speaking producers with a strong understanding of Asian culture

According to the ad posted by Ninja Theory, the two roles "will be tasked to work specifically with personnel in Japan & China," requiring candidates to be fluent in written and spoken Japanese and Mandarin respectively.

The producers will also be able to "demonstrate a strong understanding of the Japanese/Chinese culture" and represent "Ninja Theory production and the studio as a whole at all times."

While Devil May Cry isn't mentioned in the listing, it's further evidence that Ninja Theory is ramping up its first Japanese collaboration after the developer and Capcom unveiled DmC - including controversial new-look Dante - at the Tokyo Games Show.

While the 'knowledge of Asian culture' requirement sounds more for business meeting purposes, it certainly doesn't hurt in trying to make a game to appeal to the Japanese market. We're sure Capcom's Keiji Inafune, recent lamenter of the domestic industry, won't let the game feel to Japanese though.
