I feel a MASSIVE change in the gaming industry

Let's be honest though, everytime we're reminded of the Wii's utter dominance in sales as we saw this last week we see an outbreak of threads and comments like this that try and downplay the Wii or negotiate it as being last gen console, for whatever reason not on the same playing field as the 360/PS3, not getting the "real" games, or limited to its own brand of "unique"-style games. Actually, no, it's the exact opposite.  After we get reminded of the dominace of the Wii in sales, hundreds of threads crop up telling how the Wii has won the console war, how it will not ever slow down, etc.  Look at both of Shams' threads posted right after we saw how well the Wii's week went.  The comments try to overplay the Wii and downplay the other two consoles.  People want to accept that the Wii will win based on one year on the market.
