I am guessing you need to calibrate when changing game types, not while progressing within a constant game type (Ex: Archery). When you have to calibrate however, it takes only as long as you make it take.

It takes me ~6-7 second to to do it. Simply press the Move button, line up controller with shoulder and press Move button, point straight down and press Move button, put controller at belt button position and press Move button. Same thing every single time and it happens only at the beginning of each play session. Should take most people ~5-10 seconds to pass it. Not as big a deal as made out to be.

I saw on some youtube clip that the calibration can take as little as you need to move your arms to the required positions and press the button. No need to wait for the onscreen animation to prompt for the next phase of the calibration. I can't find the clip but it was that guy with strong Italian accent that pointed it out.

Yeah, it is literally press the move button, then move to shoulder, then side then buckle, it takes me about 2 secs

Also, I just wanted to point out the demo of the Shoot is rubbish, I was feeling bored by the end of it it just seems unexciting
