I play the slayer mode most of the time. This is my first time playing halo multiplayer in depth. I know I suck,but I'm trying. lol

Haha no worries man your just starting Halo Reach so its understandable....in fact I've played over 5000 games of Halo 3, around 3000 games of Halo and Halo 2, and a about 60 games of Halo Reach and even i'm getting raped really hard today.  I played 4 games of Arena and went 4 and 10, 6 and 9, 14 and 5 (my only good game of Halo today) and 1 and 7 (the most embarrassing match of Halo Reach I have ever played)

Its actually quite sad that a guy thats played over 8000 competitive games of Halo gets ripped in half

That's because the BR, now named the DMR, is a piece of crap in this game compared to how overpowered sexy-sauce it used to be.

Other people don't seem to have a problem 4 shotting with it (even thought the best you can do is 5 shot)

Hmm.. only once have I seen a 4 shot. Almost all of the time it takes me 5 shots, even if my friends are standing still, to kill them. Maybe if you hit them from behind it works better.

I haven't played halo 3 in a few months, but I could have sworn I remember 3 hitting people with the BR. Maybe it was 4.
