Also worth mentioning, or so I think. Calibrating has been very minimal so far, contrary to what has been said.

When I started up Archery I had to calibrate, but never afterwards, no longer how long I played it.

When I started up Table Tennis and I had to calibrate, but never afterwards, although I have yet to beat the first opponent, lol. Still a fun game mind you.

Just started Bocce and of course need to calibrate, although most likely won't have to again.

I am guessing you need to calibrate when changing game types, not while progressing within a constant game type (Ex: Archery). When you have to calibrate however, it takes only as long as you make it take.

It takes me ~6-7 second to to do it. Simply press the Move button, line up controller with shoulder and press Move button, point straight down and press Move button, put controller at belt button position and press Move button. Same thing every single time and it happens only at the beginning of each play session. Should take most people ~5-10 seconds to pass it. Not as big a deal as made out to be.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
