She's mentioned before that her position in the company is extremely stressful because she's almost never home; in all likelihood she's leaving of her own volition to spend more time with her family.

Yeah sure because high level well known execs get fired with huge bang and corporations always say it was due to bad results.
Get real guys - the family reasons are usually sugar coated way of saying that someone received offer that can't be rejected from his employer to leave on good terms before meeting sales target paragraph from their contract is utilised.
If she got fired with big bang it would be lose-lose situation for her and Nintendo.
