The Golden Disc should definitely go to Ninty this year, what with the breaking of the sales records and Galaxy and what not.
The next two discs are tough to give out, considering both companies/consoles did pretty well. So keep that in mind.
The Silver Disc goes to Microsoft and their 360 for a year chock-full of astonishing AAA titles and the release of the game associated with $170million in total revenue on day one.
The Bronze Disc goes to Sony and their powerhouse PS3. Not afraid to cut prices and make awesome commercials to support their product, Sony sets the PS3 up for a great 2008 while milking what it could out of what could have been a much worse 2007.
Tough awards to give out, 2007 was indeed a year to remember for this industry. Here's to '08.
