That is absolutely ridiculous. Sales have nothing to do with her, since literally 99.999999999999999% of consumers interested in Nintendo products do not know who she is. It is not like the Tiger Woods games where sales tanked due to the public image of the person on the cover.
Cammie was just at the wrong place at the wrong time, E3 08, or 09 (whichever was the absolutely terrible one). She wasn't even at E3 2010 I don't think, and if she was she didn't do anything wrong. Overall, as long as we have known her,Cammie never did anything wrong except be a woman in the videogame industry.
The fact that she didn't look like a booth babe was a large part in why despicable gamers hated her so much. She wasnt a pretentious jerkoff like Morgan Webb, or a complete asshole like Bobby Kotick, she was just a woman.
It disgusts me how people created this illogical and overblown sentiment that Metroid was sexist when half these fucks couldn't look in the mirror when they bashed this woman at her every appearance for 2 years. I hate hypocrites, and gamers are the one of the worst.
