The future of VG Chartz, what does the site mean to you?

I once had a member insulting me in the forum and before getting into an argument since I liked the site and didn't want to end banned with him, I decided to report through a PM to you. Not only that member was never even called the attention but you simply didn't answer to my two messages.

Besides, overall, IMNSHO your ideas sound quite right. Let's see if execution make them justice.
Still I think you might be missing a big opportunity to make this a really good business. Specially considering general interest in sales will most probably go sharply down as this console gen advances and makers start consolidating their final position.

In the almost impossible case that a technical issue didn't allow you to read my PMs and the behaviour reported is something you have never ever been guilty of, then I'd take back my criticism.

In any case I wish you good luck in this next step for vgchartz, I think it is a very good initiative with a lot of well focused effort put into it and it deserves growing.

 I can understand your frustration, but is it really ioi's job to go trailing round banning people? The running of the site is a big task to undertake, which is why there are other moderators for that kind of thing; I highly doubt ioi would be making a topic such as this and taking great interest in improving the website if he didnt care about the users or their opinions.

 

ON TOPIC: I like the majority of the suggestions so far; especially an earlier suggestion about monitoring game ratings because its ridiculous that games that arent even released are voted upon. I suppose as people have suggested, implementing user reviews would remove this so Im all for them.

 Kudos points seems like a great idea but if its going to be used alot of monitoring is gonna be necessary otherwise the system will get abused which is clearly not what anyone wants.

 An improved site design would be nice, but nothing major; touch up seems sufficient.
