The guys from Turn 10 are dicks and they have made some pretty bad comments... "Which could explain why the GT franchise has been so stagnant in the racing genre since GT3." “I don’t know if Move is going to bomb, but at this point, nobody gives a shit. Even Sony fans would rather talk about Kinect.” "It’s an unfortunate time in the world of gaming; one of my favorite developerswas caught with a little bit of red paint on their hands, hence making them red-handed in an outward attempt to fix a recent poll being held on CNET regarding Forza Motorsport 3 and Polyphony Digital’s Gran Turismo 5." Referring to Turn 10 trying to rig a poll. But Hartman sees GT5 as more of a theory than reality. "I haven't heard a ship date. So I'm really not worried about it until I hear a ship date." They've said and done alot more stuff, don't act as if one company is innocent over another. http://scrawlfx.com/2010/06/turn-10-nobody-gives-a-shit-about-playstation-move http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/turn-10-polyphony-checked-out-forza http://www.cinemablend.com/games/Turn-10-Bribes-Forza-Fans-For-CNET-Poll-18075.html http://www.destructoid.com/turn-10-gran-turismo-5-ain-t-got-nothing-on-forza-3-151748.phtml |
The first one seems pretty legit, but the second one, accusing them of rigging a poll by giving incentives to people to vote for them is dumb as all get out. Just about everyone does that, in fact, Epic's doing it right now with RAAM in that Gamespot poll, by offering a greater EXP weekend the futher along he gets. Trying to make a big deal about that is dumb.
