I am right, I checked NPD and they have the 360 selling 1.1 million in December of 2006 alone, the Wii sold 1.1 million since launch in North America. So no, I am indeed right.
This is true, it sold 1.1m units from November 19th until the end of December - right behind the PS2 at 1.4m and the Nintendo DS, at 1.6m. What is equally interesting is that there were and are still plenty of Xbox 360 systems available. Supply of the 360 has oversaturated demand. The other two consoles sold out initially, as they were both launched in November, with only Sony able to bring sufficient consoles to meet demand around the end of the holiday season. Quite literally by airlifting them. Any comparison at this point is flawed, because the two sets of circumstances are not directly comparable. They cannot be extrapolated to typical sales figures. Once all three consoles are generally available outside of scalpers reselling them, these figures will be obtainable.
