It all felt very fluid, but controlling Monkey as he sprinted around everywhere was far from easy, the platforming was hugely forgiving to make up for this, they chose the one part of the game during which all of the environments are colourless and bland, the combat seemed really shallow, and the graphics weren't all that fantastic. The scope was pretty amazing though: I loved the part where Monkey had to clamber up the ship to avoid being smashed into a building, and the sight of the ship crashing into the city. I understand that it's probably a gross misrepresentation of the game, but that's entirely Ninja Theory's fault. And even though I know that the full game will be much better, I feel my hype for it dwindling. I would rate that demo 7.5/10. What does everyone else think? |
I pretty much agree with you, I would have loved to see some of the more green areas
Having said that, if I can find it cheap at christmas, I might pick it up if I have time to play it. The thing it made me do was go back to Uncharted 2 and that has made me very happy
