Wii Music is not really a bad game. It sold actually well. But it failed to move Wii units on the Holiday season which in turn hurt Nintendo's console and they are now working to recover.
Wii Music failed to offer true music style of gameplay. and the fact that you never failed in the game and you can create almost any band to play a not so good selection of songs killed it.
I had hopes for the game though, but later on I was only impressed by the drums, so I decided to skip it and I am not regretting it
