Only speaking for myself, I'm a platformer fan and a Mega-Man fan. What attracted me to the PS3 was the Ratchet & Clank series because I felt it's Mega-Man done right in 3D. Is there shooting in both Mega-Man and R&C? Yes. But there is also strong platforming elements. Essentially, R&C is an action/adventure platformer shooter with the platformer aspect attracting me to the series. Then there was this "little" surprise called Little Big Planet. Platforming is what first attracted me to the PS3.
