I could list games, like how Fable will offset LBP2, Reach will limit the damage GT5 does, Move vs Kinect, old PS3 games vs old 360 games (yes they do exist har har)
But I'll let the charts do the talking for me.
5th December - no new games released, PS3 HW 140k above X360, yet 360 SW 1 million units ahead of PS3
12th December - no new games released, PS3 HW 180k ahead of X360, yet 360 SW 1.4 million units ahead of PS3
19th December - FFXIII PS3 Japan released, PS3 HW 300k ahead of X360, yet 360 SW 400k units ahead of PS3
26th December - no new games released, PS3 HW 220k ahead of X360, yet 360 SW 2 million units ahead of PS3
Seeing a pattern yet?
Despite the PS3 selling 840k more in HW, the 360 sold 4.8 million in SW more.
