Oh and possibly be close to the Wii.

Wii 81,615,431 (-54%) 512,667,413 (6.93)
PS3 63,052,539 (-31%) 265,981,604 (7.08)
X360 59,686,073 (-47%) 375,111,197 (8.71)

As you can see there isn't much in it. The high PS3 software sales relative are probably due to the largeish exclusives released towards the start of the year.

GT5 says hello to your silly idea....

GT5 is just one game.

Like I said.

America in Q4 is typically the strongest region. The Xbox 360 is relatively stronger than the PS3 in the strongest region whereas the PS3 typically does better during the year relative to the Xbox 360 than it does in Q4 due to strong early year sales in Japan and relatively consistant sales in Europe.

Besides... Halo: Reach will sell more copies than GT5 does in this calendar year and remove that difference. GT games typically aren't as front loaded.

So you admit you're seletively setting artificial time frames to make your arguement work?

And don't give me any of that 'yearly sales' clearly covers a defined 12 month period nonsense either!

Actually.. you might be right.  Although I think this GT might actually be more front loaded due to the delay, etc.   But we'll see.  In the end, we always see.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
