If the motion sensors are the same way up as in a Wii remote I think that would actually be preferable (for me at least) over the plastic wheel add-ods for racing games. (which are generally too small which means if you comfortably rest your palms on the grips your thumbs go way past the buttons, so you may as well ignore it and hold the Wii remote alone)
