| oniyide said: @mike_intellivison I understand about the Ninty experience. I was only quoting sales to show that Wii Fit sells better than any of Ninty's core titles. I said I dont care about sales cause I knew someone was going to come and say "but those PS3 games dont sell as much as Wii games" I buy games for me. I dont care what 20mil people buy. I have Wii and outside of Galaxy 2 I dont own any of those games none of them appeal to me |
Wii Fit/Wii Fit Plus are unique in that they have been/often been grouped with hardware that is available no where else. So to get the Balance Board, you bought the Wii Fit. That's why I included the EA Active fitness game for comparison, which was sold as such in sporting goods such and the like.
Related to this, Wii Fit/Wii Fit Plus have sold in Japan about the same amount as the PS3. Does this mean that fitness games are more meaningful to the Japanese than every PS3 title?
That all being said, you have the right idea at the end -- buy the games you like and enjoy them. That is what gaming is to be all about.
