It's approaching it's lowest sales this year, but. I agree with you. It's sales before slim were like 85k a week, so it's made a 40plus k jump a year on, that's impressive as most price cuts die out by then, just look at Wii's.

It was only doing so badly in the time frame when PS3 slim was widely known about but not yet released. Compared to this week in 2008, PS3 is flat.

No. The PS3 was doing 95k late July, when the Slim wasn't known. It's maintained a permanent YOY increase, unlike the Wii ..

It was well known among internet forums but that doesn't meant that it was well known among ordinary folk that buy most of these consoles. If we go by internet hype KZ2 should have sold same amount as Halo 3.
