the ps3 is significantly more expansive in europe
a ps3 costs 600 dollars here (almost 400 euro's)
against
'just' 400 dollars in the us
i might be wrong
but there should be some price-drop space in europe for sony
(one might say that distribution costs might be higher for sony in europe so they aren't making 200 dollars profit per console compared to the american units, but i don't believe this, i really think that the european units are that much more expansive cuz 1. everything is more expansive here, other consoles but also houses, cars, clothing actually everything, so sony is making 'easy money' compared to the us)
so if there is more space, i'm sure that sony will follow quickly with its one price drop if ms slashes the price of the 360 in europe
