Yes i suppose a few western devs are still around for the Wii. Games such as Goldeneye and Epic Mickey are definitely some big titles, at least bigger than other titles from other publishers. They may even have other projects in the works for after those games release. There are a few who are still trying and that is very nice to know. I have my doubts about how long this will last though, publishers such as EA have lately voiced their disappointment with the Wii.

I don't know about going bankrupt from a complete lack of Wii development, though some have closed down and others are clearly going down that same path. This is, though, a very sad affair. There were chances for a lot of success on the Wii, instead third parties decided it was best that they just ignore the console altogether. They have all but come out and said themselves that they refuse to support the console because they do not wan't to, which I believe is probably what they should do right now. If anything, at least they would be being honest. I remember a while back when companies like Capcom expressed their commitment to supporting all consoles fairly, so much for that plan.
