Dude. You NEED to get that ingot armor asap it's not hard at all, just a lot of mining. You have not much hope of dealing with guys like ura and agna with peco. Even then, you would pretty much have to eat food to increase your defense. It's a rough road, but once you get any nice rare5 armor, it's friggin worth it. The sooner the better! Somehow!

Fully upgraded Peco can get him through the game. Hell I did Agna and Ura with some weird mix armor that had like no good skills.

I don't think Ingot is necessary. Agna is great though it takes a while to farm (because of the claws ...but that's mainly the vambraces which you don't necessarily need). You can get Guard 2 and Razor Sharp without the vambraces because of the slots you'll get for gemming. Razor Sharp is a good lance skill. Guard 2 is excellent though.

I didn't say it was impossible, just makes your life easier, especially considering how easy it is to get Ingot. When I upgraded from peco to Ingot I found things a lot easier, tho still hard of course.
